This belt works exactly as I had hoped. The waist belt portion that goes around the adult rider is minimal and would be better if you could attach it somehow. Ultimately though this harness works just fine as is for helping to keep a 5+ year old kid on the back of a trail bike. I wouldn't trust it on roadway and highway speeds, but it works great for yard and trail riding.

I almost didn't look at this harness because it only had a 3.6 star review. Apparently the 2 worry warts who didn't buy it and wouldn't use it if they did gave it one star. Amazon should remove these reviews and ban the wannabe do-gooder s from ever reviewing anything. I will be ordering one for my 2 1/2 year old grandson as soon as I submit this review.
