This mobile has saved my life. Most store bought models are wind up, which is exhausting when you have to get up and wind TWO mobiles every three minutes (we have twins). Most battery operated mobiles play no more than right songs, which is a great way to slowly drive yourself insane.
This mobile plays a wide variety of songs (mostly copyrighted music, which is probably why it doesn't come with a list of songs... Disney would throw a fit) and while, yes, some songs do get stuck in your head, it's nothing like hearing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on repeat FOREVER.
The half hour auto shutoff is a dream come true, so we don't have to get out of bed once the babies are asleep. The mute option is also great, as we only have to listen to ONE mobile, even though both are spinning.
The only odd thing (and it's not enough for me to drop a full star) is that the buttons are right side up... Until you actually hang it on the mobile. Then, technically, it's upside down so you have to push the top button to turn it up and the bottom button to turn it up. Not a deal breaker! This would be an amazing gift for new parents!

Simple and easy to use - a real upgrade to the poorly-made wind-up drive that came with our mobile, which sounded really horrible and only played for a few minutes before needing another loud wind-up. The sound on this is pretty good, has many different lullaby songs, the drive is silent, and it just works exactly as expected. Very easy to swap and it has a 30 minute timer and will cycle through songs before shutting itself off.

This is truly a god send my daughter said. The mobile that she has to wind stops so quickly she can hardly sit down when she has to stand back up again and wind it! So she calls Mom and says find me a battery operated music box that might even turn a mobile! It plays so many songs and I myself find them quite lovely. He loves it because it keeps going and going. My daughter loves it because she doesn't have to get up to keep winding it!

A must have, in my opinion. It was purchased when I found out my son loved his mobile, but it only played one song and for maybe 2 minutes. This mobile is perfect. It plays continuously, has number of different songs, and the volume can be adjusted or turned off completely. Definitely worth the ten dollars. Hopefully it lasts longer than two weeks, which seems to be the common consensus of this product. Will return to alter the review if that should be the case.

Did not work out the box. Took batteries out and tried again. It span but didn't play music. Turned off and tried again, music played and it span but then spinner would not turn off. Tried again and spinner would only spin with music. Then didn't work at all. Never made it on the mobile and requested to send back day it came. It's a great idea so plan to try again in hopes I got a defective one. Will update after get another.
