Phenomenal boat. I used to guide rafts on class 5 rivers and was using an old towne camper for just floating with the family. With my back problems the canoe became arduous. The tomcat is lighter, more durable and will fit in the back of my wife's cx-5. No racks needed. Our dog loves it and it's very comfortable or my back because of the crosstube that is basically a back rest. I could never get very comfortable in a canoe. They will handle Class 3 very well. Easy to maneuver and way cheaper than a new canoe...
