If you're in a hurry, the short gist of this is that it's a great product but the mesh fabric is kind of delicate so be careful zipping and unzipping. It's pretty and does it's job plus it's not too difficult to put together; I put it together by myself. I recommend it to anyone who has a bug issue or if you just want to decorate in a fairytale style. It's a nice tent and if you're careful with it, I think it'll last a long time. :)
Now for a more detailed review!
During the spring and into the summer we tend to have a little bug problem. The last few years my room has been one of the targets of their infiltrations. Last summer, almost every day I woke up with a big black carpenter ant crawling up my inner leg. Other times I'd be sitting on my bed or pull back the covers and there'd be an earwig. When it started happening again this spring I said NOT THIS TIME and ordered this bug tent that day.
I was a little worried it might not clear my ceiling fan; my bed is on 8 inch risers and my mattress is also eight inches high, not to mention the height of the box spring. However, putting my mattress inside the tent made everything fit perfectly! My suggestion is to wiggle your mattress in before setting up the tent part; that's what I did and it wasn't too difficult, but I have a twin bed and I imagine that's a lot easier to maneuver than anything larger!
If you're having trouble putting the tent part together (mine didn't come with instructions) take a look in the questions asked area here on this product; there were a couple very nice people who made it easy to figure out how to put it up. It's actually not too hard which is a relief! Just be careful putting the poles through the fabric flaps; the mesh fabric seems very delicate.
The only complaint I have with this is that I found a small hole near the seam of the bottom left edge on the top left part of the mattress area; top left if the bed, bottom of the tent next to the rounded part of the zipper. It's large enough to fit my index finger through but I was able to fix the security breach by wadding and stuffing some painters tape I had lying around into the hole; I don't know if that hole was there or if I accidentally tore it myself during the setup or while trying to zip it up. Either way, it's not too bad and easily fixable.
I've had this tent up for about a week now and I haven't had any more problems with bugs in my bed! The tent itself has given me some peace on mind knowing I can fall asleep and wake up without the worry that I'll have to face a little uninvited guest during the night or morning. My only other complaint is that zipping, unzipping, rezipping, etc. just to get out to use the bathroom or get water is a little tedious and a little annoying but it's definitely worth it to have a peaceful night's sleep! I'd recommend this to anyone who's having a similar issue and likes pretty, fairytale-esque decorations; I sure feel special and beautiful when laying in this tent which is a nice perk! :)

Helped toddler transition from crib

This is exactly what we wanted, and helped our toddler feel secure transitioning from a crib to a bed. I only wish the zipper was a little better quality, it catches a bit already and there are loose threads that get caught.
