This is a great photo prism! Upon arrival, I was very happy with the way the prism is cared for in packing and shipping. It has its own velvet bag, and box with a molded cut out to keep the prism safe from chips and blemishes. I was also impressed by the size and weight. It feels high quality and even better than I expected.

I am a semi pro photographer who captures portraiture and art photography. I'm definitely taking this prism on my next portrait shoot! In the meantime, I found a lot of fun uses for it. I was able to add some extra creepiness to my sculptural paintings and add some fun effects and depth to other photos.

At such a low cost, this prism is definitely worth keeping in your bag for when inspiration strikes or whenever you need to mix it up and get inspired!

At first glance this item is great and will make a great addition to you photography bag. It's great for adding some warp, flare, glare, and rainbow effects to you pictures.

This is very easy to use in the sense of handling and using of the product, but as for making great pictures not as easy. You have to really get creative with your thinking to make some great ideas come to life it's not just pick up put in front of your camera and boom amazing photo.

Product definitely worth every penny it's affordable and seems to be made of great quality material and stored in great quality as well.

Would make a great gift for any photography out there with a creative mind.

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that I was a bit scuffed up out of the box but nothing major. It could also use maybe some creative ideas in the box to get a certain type of pictures i.e. to use for...to get a mirror effect ...etc. just as basic starter ideas.

The product is great hopefully the company keeps putting out great products.

I've always wanted to try working with a prim in my photography but was intimidated. This is a great price to buy one and experiment a bit.
It comes in a nice padded box and a fabric case (that is great to use to clean it with) Small enough to fit into a camera bag or pocket easily. I used a 24-70mm lens and my lowest f-stop was 2.8. It may have worked better having the f-stop open more, but I forgot to bring my other lenses. I went to a wildlife refuge to play around with it. It took a little time to figure out what all it could do. (I'm sure there's lots more that I haven't figured out yet) I tried several different techniques and got some cool results. I look forward to playing with it some more and seeing what else I can create with it.

Great value for the price. The company even sends you a pdf of how to use it and tips to get the most out of it.

First impression of the prism right out of the box is that it is well made, no knicks or scratches from the seller, at least not until I dropped it but that's on me. The soft bag it comes in is nice, I have a place to store it whem I'm done. And it's not as heavy as I was expecting it. It will get finger smudges on it but those can be wiped away with a soft cloth.

To begin with I am normally a wildlife/astro photographer but I do dabble in people photography from time to time, however I am always up to try new products and new techniques.

I did watch a few videos and read some articles about how to use a prism, as this is my first time, I will include some photos from my experience.

So after a few days of playing around, I found a way to use it that fits me and my style. I liked the rainbow effect and the cool light but as a nature photographer, this just isn't something that I would carry around in my every day carry but when I fool around with people photography I look forward to what else I can do with is prism.

Prism seems very nice quality. Another reviewer mentioned it came with a booklet suggesting how to use it for your photography. The one I received didn't have the booklet as this was apparently a limited time offer. However there are plenty of videos on YouTube suggesting ways to use a prism if you don't know how. The prism came with the little black carrying bag which is pictured and it does appear to be microfiber as described and a microfiber cloth was included to keep it clean. The box it arrived in has nice foam padding to hold and cradle the prism. It was lined with yellow satin, a very nice touch if giving for a gift and for storage.

If using it for that sort of mult-picture or distorted picture look there is no problem. Just a warning if you want to produce rainbows any type of suncatcher or prism will require a beam of somewhat strong light, at least in my experience. You can try using a CD/DVD as the rainbow reflective surface off that can produce some interesting effects on surfaces. You can find Brandon Woelfel's video on YouTube showing how he produces his rainbow effects with suncatchers, crystals, clear CDs, etc, but be ware most of these will also require a beam of relatively strong light to produce the rainbow effect and depending on the device the beam may have to be at an angle to bend and produce the rainbow effect. Note too that when Woelfel's doing his rainbow photography in a room is in dimmed light. He also says that if you just produce the rainbow effect on a plain background you can use it as a layer to blend with your photo. Frankly I do that when I want rainbows as it's not always easy to get it where you want it when you want it. I uploaded some pics of the prism, box and carrying bag with this review.
