Disclaimer: Just finished assembly / install. Need to be sure this thing will stay mounted and not rattle at any point before I really know the deal with this rack. Also - I installed myself. Would have been easier with someone helping.
I would play Guns N' Roses "Patience" the entire time you assemble and (attempt) to install this thing. Assembly is tedious at best - Install might drive you insane especially if you have a hard top. I would pre screw the mounting bolts attached to the rack before trying to line it up and insert. The powder coat / paint really clogged up the threads. Bad design with the mounting screws facing in from the window. I took the mount off the roll bar and then assembled to the rack mount (left everything loose). It was impossible to assemble the way it was instructed in the manual. All in all I'm sure it will be fine but not worth the time at all.

The best cargo rack I've seen. This rack is quiet and holds all my beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. This has allowed my dogs to have all the trunk space and allowing me to bring all my beach supplies.

Tedious to put together with what feels like a 1,000 screws.. however it is very high quality. No rattle whatsoever, but does vibrate at certain frequencies with my bass. Make sure to put blue thread lock on every screw. I bought a net and hooks about the size of the rack and it works amazingly to hold down my gear.

This shelf is a great sturdy product but just know that I had an experienced mechanic install it and he said it was a bear. It comes with a million tiny parts and it took like 4 hours to install. They really need to simplify this shelf. Otherwise, now that it is in, I love it. Provides a lot of extra storage and it does not rattle.
