We just recently start d experimenting in making our own spirits, and the Gin kit from DIY Gift Kits is AWESOME! What a clever gift! It comes with two glass bottles, funnel, a flask and a very educational (for beginners) packets of herbs along with clear instructions and different recipes. We're having a lot of fun creating (and tasting!) the results. It only takes about 48 hours per batch, so we started with two differently flavored batches so we could compare side-by-side. I learn and remember much better when I can make it myself, this is the perfect gift!

Bought this for my 11-year old grandson for Christmas. He was pleased to get it. The quality of everything in the kit (including bottles and labels) made him eager to get in the kitchen. The recipes and other information, including chile heat levels, in the kit is attractively presented and clear enough for a young person to understand. While it doesn't appear that the kit is geared toward children, I don't think my grandson will have any problem making the hot sauces and learning a few things in the process. He was enthusiastic about bottling some hot sauce and I am looking forward to tasting what he makes.

Just recieved 2 of these babies in the mail and couldn't be happier with the purchase! The items were organized nicely in the box, the jars to store your hot sauce are made of glass, the packaging of the peppers and spices were well done and the aromas coming from the box smelled amazing! Also, the instruction pamplet offers some humour which makes the kit that much more fun to take part in.
We purchased this as a white elephant gift and a second one as a Christmas gift for a hot sauce loving friend. Might have to buy a third for ourselves after the holidays!

Bought this as a gift for my father. He loved it. He loves hot sauce but has a difficult time finding one that is hot enough for him. He really likes DIY style gifts and this was right up his alley. I only wish they had a kit designed for the spiciest peppers but this was still great. The box comes with everything in the picture boxed up neatly. They even leave a little note saying everything was "made with love." Great product!
EDIT: Everything above I still stand by, but HOLY HELL will you get emails from this company if you elect to fill out the paperwork inside the box. The paperwork, when filled out, will have them send out 2 more additional peppers, bottles, etc. I filled it out and now I get about 5 emails a day from this company. Use a fake email or something when registering for the free stuff.
