Large, heavy, and attractive highball glasses

These are very large 17 oz. glass highball glasses that are heavy and attractive. Note, however, that many cocktail mixing guides assume a small 8 oz. highball glass in their recipes rather than one this size. So these glasses are for drink recipes that are relatively light on alcoholic liquor additives since doubling the ingredients in recipes that are heavy on alcoholic additives will end up creating a drink with too much alcohol for some people (assuming you fill the glasses to near the top). I mention that fact so that the novice home bartender will think about glass sizes when setting up a home bar.

Love these glasses for the price! Heavy feel. Have stood up to man washings in the dishwasher. The bottom has a single bubble in the center of each glass.

Given that I ordered these knowing that the bubbles were not all centered, I am thrilled with these! I love large volume glasses as I drink a lot of water every day. These are elegant and perfect for company. The bottoms are heavier that I expected since I bought a similar version years ago and still have some left to compare with these. The bulk of glass at the base is also not exactly level at the bottom of the interior usable space but it's negligible. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. They are a Fantastic Value.

I would recommend; although I did get have a scratch on one of the glasses; weird, I have nothing sharp that would make a diamond like scratch about 5in long.
