A little small, but it will do... The tub mat was too long and too thin for my shower, so I thought this would work... 21x30 would have been perfect... My size 13 feet are right at 12" long, so I only have a few inches of mat in front and behind... But then, that is all you need.. More importantly, the mat works great... After my hip replacement, I feel very secure and comfortable standing on the mat.. I can enjoy my shower without worrying about falling and busting out my new hip... Actually, any shower should have one with or without having some operation... I should have already had one. You will feel very confident that you will not be picking yourself up (if you can)... The mat is very well constructed and feels nice under your feet. I believe you will see the 10 years of the warranty... Be safe, get one...

Perfect size for my smaller standing shower. I do have large ceramic tiles and the mat works - I just get the shower running warm/hot a few seconds before I get in, stand on the mat and it holds perfectly. I just had my left hip replaced so stability in the shower is paramount. I feel very safe in my shower thanks to the Gorilla Grip mat - I love the small holes so that water can flow through. Great mat!

Will not stay clean. That is 2 weeks without throwing in the wash machine. I do not have hard water. I have used an old toothbrush to clean, and it came off easy, but was filthy again soon. I give it stars because it seems well made ( you can throw it in the washer just fine ) and the size is perfect for me.

It's a bit hard to rate this item. It works GREAT to keep us from slipping in the shower; honestly, it is incredibly well made and feels great on the feet (meaning it is not rough, it is not so smooth as to be slippery, and it keeps your feet well planted). This mat also stays where you put it, no slipping or sliding of the mat, so you feel secure while standing on it. And, although we don't use in the tub (because we don't take baths), I'm certain it would work just as well in that area. All in all, it certainly deserves a 4 star rating but there is a potential drawback for others.

Now for what I don't like and was not expecting. Water does flow thru it and down the drain, but suds do not. So if you were to just leave the mat in the stall all the time, I've no doubt you'd end up with a gunky soap scum effect on the shower floor which is exactly why folks have moved away from using shower/bath mats in the first place. BUT it is easy to solve this problem by doing what I had intended in the first place. Once I've finished showering, I simply lift the mat and rinse it off. That allows the soap suds to flow down the drain and leaves a "soap scum free" mat in its wake. Then I simply stick the mat to the side wall of the shower, loosely, so it can air dry. Done...and problem solved. Next shower, simply grab the mat and plop it on the shower floor, press down along the sides to create the suction needed to keep it in place, and shower away without slipping.

I chose the mat over appliques because I've read an awful lot of bad reviews on those products. I entertained anti-slip tape as well but read many bad reviews there as well. This mat does have holes throughout and water runs thru it very well. We have no water backing up so it's simply a matter of the soap suds not running thru it. Not what I expected, but easily remedied.

All in all, I'd buy it again and I do recommend it to others. But only if you are OK with rinsing it after each use (which is such a small task when the product allows you to feel secure in your shower/bath with no fear of slipping.

These work really well and footing is firm. However, this is a high maintenance item. I don't have anywhere to,hang and dry it after use so of course I had some mold quickly built in the cups that hold it down. I tossed it into the washer and low setting dryer and it came out like new. I think I would have stuck to the no maintenance stick on disks had I known this.
