Excellent product. I love it.
Try leaving a space of a 1/8 oinch between the top of the tube and the bottom edge of the mailbox.

This was a bit better tricky to install on post that supports our mailbox. After we got it attached (drilled holes, used waterproof screws) we discovered that by making it flush with bottom edge of mailbox we'd made it more difficult to fully open the mailbox. We're living with it, as is, though it is not optimum. On the plus side "” we are quite pleased with the size"”which accommodates our two delivered Sunday papers"”which can be big!
