I bought 3... Love them

As you can see I bought 3 .... I was going to buy an expensive awning but these umbrella's are great ... I have to mention that you should purchase a heavy stand and that when you crank it open for the first time to be careful because it might be tweeked a little and lock up and something and might break so just be careful to move things around as needed.
Really Poor. Save Your money.

Veins comes tangled and would need to be untagled each time you open othewise they get bent or rip the fabric. Fabric is paper thin. Had 4 rips in one month of usage, 2 in the corners and had to tie up. Wind up mechanism doesn't kick until you have manually pushed up the base of the veins half-way up or down the pole. All in all, this is a really bad piece of equipment that is not worth purchasing. Mine is now waiting to be picked up by the garbage service. Save your money.

It's a nice umbrella, but several times now the arms seem to get twisted easily when folded down, and then when you crank it up they jam in each other.
The other thing that I wish was different was the way the tilt mechanism works. Just like many other umbrellas out there, there is a push-button on the staff to let you angle it. However, this is a rectangular umbrella, not square, and the angle it leans to is to the wide side of the umbrella. If it leaned on the 6.6 foot side, it might actually block out the sun as it gets lower on the horizon.

Not satisfied at all...

Item arrived just fine and it appeared to be in working order until I put it together and began cranking it open for the first time. There was a large chip in the metal handle, two white scuffs on the fabric (that did not wipe away) and the umbrella would not open up. It appears to be a defect as one of the arms/supports are on the wrong side (and bent for that matter) as you crank open the umbrella. I returned and I purchased another thinking it was just a fluke, right? Well, I was wrong... the second one arrived yesterday and again, it appeared to be in working order until I cranked it open for the first time. There was again a chip in the metal handle and it had the same defect with the one arm/support as the first one (so it would not correctly open). On top of it all, the plastic cap on the top of the umbrella was cracked in several places. I am returning this one and I am purchasing a different brand the third time around!
Difficult to open

This would be the best-for-price patio umbrella except... getting it open is a complete frustation. The ribs get all tangled and it takes two people to hold them in place while a third cranks the umbrella up a little. Then it's good to go. If I could leave it open, this would be a once a year chore. But around here, an open umbrella will sail right through the nearest window in the wind. I'll return it unless some other purchaser has a solution to the overlapping arms.
