Works! I repaired a Tfal electric kettle that had a small leak in the water level window so needed high temp and FDA cert. Cleaned off the calcium, did a quick wipe with a q tip dampened with acetone and a thin smear inside and out of this stuff and I was back to a dry counter the next day. I boiled and dumped a couple of pots of water just to make sure to get rid of any residue and outgassing.

Worked but I bought this specifically as a "food grade" adhesive. The tube says nothing about food. Used it anyway. Hope I don't die.

Used this to fill the leaks around my chimney and fire box on my 15 year old New Braunfels smoker. Thing works like it's brand new. Had been loosing smoke and control of the temperature. Have put about 15 cooks on it since using the product. 6 or 7 big grilling cooks with high temps and the rest 10-15 hour long smokes for briskets, ribs, and pork loins. Used Lavaloc gasket material and this leak sealer, loosing almost no smoke and have perfect control of the temperature again. Looks like my old smoker I almost gave up on, will last another 15 years. Great product!!

I saw people use a red color of this on their Oklahoma Joe Smoker, but then I saw it was available in black too. Since the Smoker is black this is a better looking material. It has so far resisted the heat too.

Item works Great. I used this along with the LavaLock self stick seal and I have stopped all leaks in my Oklahoma Joe smoker. I only used the between the fire box and main cooking chamber and it has held up well. I made sure to clean the area real good with brake cleaner and it removed all the dirt and grime that had built up on the smoker. Installed in approx 93 degree temps and let set outside in temps above 90 for a couple days.
