Product as described! Good quality! Soft! I couldn't use them well that's the only reason I didn't give them a 5 star! I'm going to keep trying to see if it can get better using them! Just not used to using that kind of makeup brush! Great price! Quick delivery!

I've seen these brushes before, but decided to try them after seeing them recommended by the Frugal Crafter. They really do blend ink very well. I've tried them with Distress Oxides, Memento dye inks, Versafine Clair, and Nuvo hybrid. They worked equally well with each.
I used Distress Oxide peacock feathers in my comparison on 80 lb Neenah paper. I'm using third largest of the makeup brushes, an ink blending brush and a blending sponge.
In the first test, straight on paper, the difference was not huge. The make up brush put down the ink quickly and smoothly, the blending brush results were a bit textured, but that might be something you wanted. The blending sponge put down lots of ink very quickly (the sponge used had already been used for that ink pad), but was a bit blotchy.
The second test, working through a stencil, was where these brushes really shine. The makeup brushes put down color quickly with beautiful clean edges. The blending brush had lots of splatters leaking under the stencil. The blending sponge results weren't bad, but I had to hold down the stencil quite firmly and the sponge started shredding against the mylar stencil.
They clean easily just by rubbing them on a microfiber cloth.
I'd like to give them 4.5 stars as the handles are a little too flexible for me. I wonder how long they are going to last. Also, longer fibers appear that are still firmly connected to the base. They don't seem to make a difference so I'm just ignoring them. However, I decided to give them 5 as I am really impressed. Just wish that you could just purchase the 5 largest brushes by themselves.

The third largest brush works best for applying concealers and foundation. The other brushes are unnecessary. I purchased these back in November of 2019 and it has lasted in 2023. As you can see in the black of the brush, the gold coating is flaking off and it is super irritating trying to pick microscopic gold off your face, ruining your makeup. This brushes could do without the gold coating, but otherwise these are LUXURIOUSLY SOFT and super easy to clean with a little soap and warm water. 10/10 recommend for a flawless finish

I got these and I recommend getting them if your a beginner. I do think you should get a sponge however as sometimes it doesn't help creasing.

I loved that the set has every size needed. They are also very soft. Haven't had a chance to use them that much but so far I'm happy.
