I ordered this for my 12 year old daughter. She is a figure skater. I purchased the ones without stones, and they work great for her. She wore them the the California Championships and they worked wonderful. The little gel pad is wonderful when your skater is pulling her blade above her head after a layback spin. We loved that the gloves were short and not long - they were easily tucked into her costume.

Worked well for skating competition where my daughter had a move where she needed to protect her hands, as she slid them across the ice. Would have liked the area that goes up the wrist to have fit more snugly. There was excess fabric gapping and it didn't look as sleek as it could have.
