Great for an activity speaker

Great for an activity speaker, but battery seems to die wayyyy to fast when played loud. It can't even make the minimum advertised battery time when played near full volume (So its not working as advertised there), even when you give the speaker a break. battery does seem to last much better and as advertised when played at lower volume sort of around half volume. Amazing sound and form factor for a speaker this size and price. good features too except no 3rd button on device. I'm considering retiring to manufacture since I seem to be alone with this battery experience, but remember this is a compact speaker so it will never last as long as it's larger siblings.

This is only usable in a quiet area. I had it at max volume and I couldn't hear it over normal kitchen sounds (wife's preparing food). I couldn't hear it over highway noise in my car with the windows closed either. I can only see it used in a library, where one can't use it and certainly not in the situations advertised (parties, kayaking, crowds? no way)
The look, feel, and craftsmanship are very nice; I hated returning it but it was inadequate for its purpose, which is to listen to lectures and sermons in my car and in my house.
I returned it for a UE BOOM 2 Panther and that exceeded my expectations for not much more in cost.

Great speaker for outdoor activities

This is a great little speaker. Great sound quality and it can get pretty loud. I chose this over the new Wonderboom because it has a more versatile strap. It has a bungee on the back with a hook so you can hang it or strap it onto your cooler, bike, atv, or whatever. It is also waterproof so we plan to use this in our canoe and out camping. Easy to pair with every phone I have tried. It also has a long battery life. It lasts at least full 8 hour day when I use it at work. I think it could go a bit longer, but have yet to put it to the test.

Husband loves this! Works with any Bluetooth capable device. Sound is great for such a little speaker, love that you can link up more than one for amplified sound. We use this often and still working like brand new.

Exactly what I wanted. Waterproof, easy to connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices. Mostly use it to listen to podcasts in the shower (multi-tasking self-care) at the moment, but can see myself bringing it hiking/camping, using it at the pool or beach in the summer, etc. Potential purchasers might not realize you can control the volume using the speaker itself, but need to use your phone/other connected device to change the music/podcast/book on tape you're listening to.
