That's it. I'm old. Granted, the older side of middle age but I couldn't deny the fact that I needed help seeing small print. My buddy gave me a pair of his "cheaters" and they helped (a lot). So I decided to buy some of my own (after going to my eye doctor with the correct magnification). I didn't want the standard boring black thin glasses. I saw these on Amazon and bought my first set. They were great!. Much sturdier than my buddy's throwaways and the same price. Better hinges and the frame colors are a nice touch. The only problem is that I don't need the sunglasses pair (Reading on the beach, maybe?) I would give it 5 stars if they were all clear lenses. But that might just be me. (btw... They're so low-priced, I bought a second set and have them spread everywhere around the house/car)

Really high quality readers! I've used readers for 10 yrs, last year I bought the computer gamma ray glasses that block painful PC light so when my readers all recently broke, I saw these and decided to order. WOW! The clarity is super, even though the power is the same as my old glasses, these are way better! I see as well with these 1.50 power Gamma rays as I do upstairs with a 2.00 power pair of drugstore readers. I will be buying gamma ray readers for my husband and I in future!

I have tried many, but these are by far my favorite reading glasses, and really inexpensive. Very comfortable and durable, cheap enough that I can keep a pair wherever I need them: one in the car, one at the office, a few at home. Only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is I don't need the sunglasses version; would like to have 4 pairs of untinted. I did not see this option anywhere.
