I wanted a unique look for my new RV Garage. I wanted to be able to keep windows partially open to vent air thru and up out of the ridge vent and also drain any rain water outside thru the window's drain holes in bottom. My contractor installed four of these in my metal bldg. I have added pictures of how he did it - as others have asked if and how to do it. I'm very happy with the product and the look.
PS: my contractor chose to surround the installed window with his own metal trim. It still requires caulking. I think one could leave the window flush and just caulk it, too.
PPS: Yesterday, I talked to customer support and Chris said these windows only open to 90 degrees, no more and no less. The next day my contractor used the suggested hex wrench and fixed these windows so they can set at various positions between 0 and 90 degrees, just like another reviewer said. The hex nut is on the left side, in a plastic black tab with several holes, one of them with the nut. My contractor removed the screen to access the nut easily.

I am installing 12 of these windows in my green house. So far I have put 4 of them in vertically and they seem to work well. I installed them to open to the outside to keep them from interfering with plants and also can be opened with going inside. The only thing i did was drill a 3/16 hole in the bottom of framing to let rain water drain out. When window is installed vertical the factory holes are not in the correct place. I probably would not put them in my home like this but in a storage building or green house, they work well.
I have updated the post and pictures sense I installed the first four windows. The next four windows all had at least one broken corner. One had three broken ones. You can see then in pics. They installed ok but it was very disappointing to see then broken. They seem to be packaged well and all the corners have extra foam and bubble wrap on then. Hope the last four are in better shape when I unbox them.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
