Works great to help fix a ripped cover that came with out pontoon boat. Added on new snaps to the boat and cover. If you are going to be drilling into metal, i would suggest getting self tapping stainless screws.....even if you predill a hole for these you can wind up easily snapping the screw

These are not stainless steel. I tried to use these to secure a tarp in the bed of my truck. The screws snapped off when I tried to install them (I quit after the 3rd one snapped). In case you're wondering, yes, I drilled a pilot hole.
