I was already familiar with the shoelaces from this company, and they are also excellent, impressive, and outstanding. I had the same expectation of this spool, especially after looking at the composition and feeling the cord in my hands.

The cord is consistent, with a braid that looks diamond-ish, and a very good texture. This makes this line excellent at holding a knot or bend. It does not cut well with a hot-knife, but requires very sharp scissors and a singe for a nice finish.

The performance of this cord is nothing less than impressive, with plenty of testing to back claims that demonstrate strength and durability well above other cordage. The low elastic properties of this cord are not always desirable, so keep this factor in mind, if you are using this cordage for something other than pull cords. The low elasticity is often beneficial, but elongation before failure of other compositions can be a good warning in some uses.

The lifetime guarantee is outstanding, with a promise to replace cordage that fails, including shipping. There is no disclaimer about normal wear-and-tear; These failures are covered, as well. Send them a picture of the failed cord, and they will ship you a replacement.

This is a premium product, and deserves the premium price it is listed for. I did deduct one star to emphasize this product may not be the best choice for many customers. Your needs may be met by a much less expensive version, and careful consideration for use in specific circumstances may be better met by other types of cord.

So far nothing to complain about, we use these ropes on our R C boats in which we start them 25 to 35 times through out a day, very strong and difficult to cut, just remember to burn the ends for security!
