I used this right after unpackaging it. After baking the muffins, I lightly pushed on the edge of each muffin around the circumference and they lifted right out and I didn't use the paper inserts. I can't wait to make another batch. Regular size muffins are a tease. These are the perfect size. Great product and when and if mine wears out, I will buy another one.
