Everyone else has covered all of the technical details of the checkbook cover, but I just wanted to add that the colors are much more vibrant, and bold than how the photographs showed up on my screen (which is a good thing!). When I bought the orange checkbook cover I was worried it might be a little drab, but it's very bright, and cheerful, and I couldn't be happier with it.
Nicely designed checkbook cover that allows use of both, top-tear and side-tear checkpads.

Well designed with soft stitched leather, pockets, etc.
Initially, a standard round Bic Stick ball point pen would not fit into the pen's holder loops, but once you force one in, and leave it for a couple of days, the leathers stretches a tad, allowing the pen to be inserted and removed more easily.
After using the product a little, I still give it a great review. As I expected the pen loops loosened a tad so that it is easier to insert and remove a pen.
One problem: the pen loop on the lower part of the checkbook ... the side holding the pad of checks ... is in the way. It interferes with your hand when you are trying to write check.

I love this checkbook. It's exactly what I'd been looking for. It has useful compartments (including 5 slots for cards, one with a window), holds both top-tear and side-tear checks, a check register, and a pen as well. The two contiguous pen loops along the long edge that close up the book by sliding the pen through them both is a smart touch. I ordered mine in gray leather and it looks great. It's not bulky at all and has a low, flat profile. The leather is smooth and of good quality. Highly recommended. Terrific item.

RFID protrction - VIP - is what first caught my eye - and secondly, the rich blue color. VERY good quality. Checkbook wallet solves two probs at once. If it came with a zipper all the way around three sides - I would have gotten that one. I am happy with this purchase and prompt delivery time. I would buy another item from this same company !
