An end to Billfold Bedlam

This slender wallet has been a daily delight--and an end to years of searching for the one that's right for me. I've tried almost everything from fat wallets to thin ones to money clips to aluminum accordion styles. This baby is well made of premium leather with a prong money clip that holds more bills securely while offering easier access than too tight metal clips. Outside, there's a handy pocket for a commonly used card, like a bus pass, with a cut out for thumb forwarding. And inside, there are 3 more pockets: 1 for photo ID and 2 for often used cards. I carry only the daily basics in the's last 2 pockets: things I need quickly at hand: debit card, employee ID, Starbucks and one other. You might want 3 or 4 more cards. Your call. But if you're looking to simplify your daily life, this is a great place to start.

Review update:
This afternoon I discovered another cool feature! The colorful tab/ribbon on the side isn't a mere decoration. When I fiddled with it, then gave it a tug, it pulled up an instruction card from a hidden space behind the ID pocket. Here is where you'd want to store a thicker stack of cards--with no need to fumble with not so tiny fingers. Done, you tuck the cards back in...and the tab/ribbon goes back to normal.

Just got the wallet yesterday and it's exactly what I wanted. I've never carried a traditional wallet and this is a happy medium between a money clip and a normal wallet. Slightly smaller and lower profile. Great look to it (not sure how high quality the leather is, had a subtle chemical smell when I unwrapped it) but that wasn't my main criteria for the purchase. I have 3 normal credit / debit cards in there, my license and an insurance and dental card which are both very thin. There isn't much more room, which I don't need anyway. I would guess in a few months it may stretch out and offer room or one or two more cards if necessary but that's a guess. The pull tab and open slot for accessing cards easily are both very clever and simple to use.

I really like this wallet. I am a minimalist and can not stamd bulky items in my pocket. This wallet hits the mark. I have 8 credit card size cards, 2 thin medical cards, a laminated picture, and 2 $1 bills and it is still thin. I did remove the money clip piece to allow it to be smaller. I was not a fan of the way bills just layed in the middle (i like clean lines and for things to.have a place).

The reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the leather. It is very soft and very appealing to the eye. However, it scratches EXTREMELY easy. There was a good size scratch on it when I opened the package and it scratched again as I was moving cards around. I thought of returning it but knew a new one would scratch just as easily and the wallet is otherwise too perfect for me. I am hoping over time more scratches will give it patina.

The box and wrap were impressive. The wallet itself is very good quality, superior craftsmanship reflecting quality and attention to details. Just before I found this wallet I bought another brand, but then have realized that it was a most likely copy of this design when I saw it, and as expected two wallets came the same day and the other brand wallet wasn't that great quality, it looked cheaper quality and craftsmanship. I stuffed this one with all my credit cards, business cards, and cash from my old ripped wallet, and realized that it didn't fit all of it, so I had to do housekeeping and leave some stuff out. In my old wallet, I had a clip for cash on the outside, but this way where the clip is on the inside is so much better! I especially like how credit card pulling out with pull strip, great idea! as sometimes with too many cards, it's hard to get one out pulling it with fingers. Driver license window is also bigger than other wallets that I had, makes it easier to read it without removing one from the pocket.

Bought this wallet for myself and loved all of the features. The quick access card is extremely easy to use and easily fits an additional card such as a hotel key or another credit card, I was hoping I would be able to hold my wallet up to my room with the hotel key in get quick access slot, but it does not work therefore it appears the RFID is working as intended even with the cutouts allowing for easy access. The strap allows easy access to secondary cards and the money clip can easily hold 10+ bills without becoming overly bulky. My only complaint is that when overly full, it can be difficult to remove a card from the other 2 slots since there is no real grip you can get on the card other than the 1/4" revealed at the top. Currently my wallet is holding 10 cards very comfortably but this could probably be stretched to 15, though you may encounter some difficulty removing cards as mentioned.

Have also bought this for my friend as a thank you gift who loves it, he previously carried one of those leather card holders with nowhere to put bills unless they were neatly folded and tucked into a card slot. After a quick comparison our wallets were nearly identical in thickness. I would buy one for my dad for Father's Day however he is vegan and this extends into more than just what he eats. It would be cool if there was some sort of non-leather option.
