I acquired an '05 Infinity G35 sedan with the Bose audio system (CD Changer!) and wanted more out of the system. With my previous car, upgrading to the Infinity speakers made a world of difference so I wanted to give it a shot with the G35.

After looking up the fitment, I found these speakers at a GREAT price on Amazon at ½ the price listed on another site.
After careful installation or just the rear door speakers there is a world of difference. The original Bose labeled speakers had paper cones with rather small magnets. The Infinity are fiberglass cones, separate tweeters and magnets that are at least 3X bigger.

The original Bose Head Unit drives these just fine.

I have installed the fronts and replaced the tweeters as well with fantastic results. It sounds like you have additional folks in the car with you and both the soundstage and the presence is amazing.

For $120 to do front/teat/tweeters, I don't think you could do much better.

Really nice that the original BOSE Head Unit drives it all so well.

Now I just have to burn more CDs!

Great replacement speakers for my Honda Element.

I bought these after doing a fair amount of research on good replacement speakers for my '11 Suby Outback. A really nice guy at Crutchfield answered some questions for me about the newer model of these, but since they didn't have this exact model, I got them here as they were MUCH cheaper than the new model. These are perfect for the discerning audio enthusiast. They are warm and clear at high volumes, have a nice predictable low end that doesn't get muddy or boomy but sounds really good. The mids and highs are both clear and add a lot of depth to the overall soundstage. I put these in the front and the deeper model in the rear and together they sound fantastic! I think you'd have to go up to upper echelon in price to beat this sound. I listened to about 4-5 different options at local stores over the last few months, and these always sounded the best! Really happy with them and the only thing that could take this to another level would be adding a nice subwoofer in the trunk. But it's plenty good already for me. With a great head unit, you can get some amazing sound and very three dimensional soundstage action going on! Absolutely love these. Install is never as easy as the companies or videos make it seem, but my friend and I didn't have too many problems. All in all a fairly easy install. Highly recommend these if you're looking for the best sound you can have in your car for under $150 in the 6.5" driver size range!

I purchased this set of speakers to go in the soundbar of my Jeep JK. It was a simple install using the speaker wire adapters from Metra (Metra 72-6514). I also filled the speaker bar with polyester fill. I can not tell you how much difference they will make in a JK with the stock head unit, but I could definitely hear a big difference with my Kenwood head unit. These speakers are very crisp and clear with a punchy bass. I am not saying you will get good bass from any 6.5" speaker, but they are good for what thy are. One thing that prompted me to purchase these speakers is their efficiency. They sound great with just the 22 watts coming from my head unit.

I have always been a fan on Infinity speakers. I listen to a broad range of music from classic country to hair metal to rap to classical. You can get away with a lot in speakers when you are playing hair metal, but when you switch to classical or melodic music, that is where the Infinity shines for me. They have performed so well for me that I will be picking up a second set to replace my front speakers, but that is a bigger install job and may wait until I have more time to work on it.

Verdict: I don't believe you will be disappointed in these speakers. If you install them and they don't sound great, it is probably your head unit.

These worked fine in the beginning but the rubber woofer surround split in 2 years of light use (this is a weekend vehicle and not a daily driver).
