The problem with other shoulder ice packs I have used is when you only have the use of one arm, it is almost impossible to position the pack and then afix it with the Velcro straps. This one is a single strap that hold the cold packs to front and back ( rotator injury) and hits the spot perfect. ONly complaint is I cannot find a place to buy some extra ice packs for this unit

I purchased this item prior to my rotator cuff surgery 11 days ago. This has been the most versatile tool in my pain relief arsenal. I have the larger plug in model but I find myself using this item exclusively. I didn't like being confined to my recliner. This unit works perfectly with my sling and I can move around as much as I want. I was able to completely stop all narcotic pain pills by day 6 with this. As long as I am diligent about using when the pain starts this is doing the trick.

I love it could be used for hot or cold. I used it for heat on my back. I used it for cold on knee. Very easy to use . most of all it works. The pouch you put it back in is very comfortable. You don't have to worry about wrapping it in a towel to use it.

Purchased for my wife prior to her rotator cuff surgery. The gel packs freeze quick and are flexible. The pad the packs slide into is very soft and comfortable. Works great and usually only used one of the two ice packs at a time so always have a spare in the freezer while one is being used. I think the product worked met our needs nicely and was a fair price.
