Decent bike. Comes mostly assembled. You will need to assemble the handle bars, add pedals, seat, and front wheel. Pretty easy, I had this together in roughly 1/2 hour. If you've never done this before watch the video on Vilano's website first. Also had to adjust the front deraileur and do a rough truing of the wheels - (not included in my 1/2 hour). Many videos on how to do these tuning items can be seen on YouTube.
The good: Lots of good here. A very light bike. Maybe too light - In testing it on a very steep hill, I kept popping the front wheel off the ground while peddling it. With 24 gears, there are enough for every situation. Did I mention i was able to climb the hill sitting down? Shimano shifters. Kenda tires. Front and rear wheels are quick release type. Bike is pre-drilled for racks, and has good paint and details.
The bad: Nothing really too bad here. Just things that could have been better. For example, the rear brake cable was long and unfinished. Thats simply sloppy workmanship. Lets hope that was the only thing unfinished and things don't start popping off later while on a ride. The seat is hard on your rear. Plan on replacing it. The handlebar grips are cheap and not very comfortable once you have your weight on them for a while. A kick stand would have also been a nice to have as bikes don't stand on their own once you get past having training wheels.
To sum up the Diverse 2.0, its is a good bike for the casual rider, and as a lightweight 24 speed bike at under $250, appears to be a good bang for the buck. As the bike is new, I have no insight to durability at this time. Update- Ok, I've had the bike for roughly 4 months now and have taken it out regularly for weekend rides averaging 10miles on asphalt road surfaces in hilly terrain. I've encountered absolutely no issues. Smooth shifting, good speed. I swapped out the original seat and hand grips with gel variants and added a kickstand and water holder. Bike is an excellent hybrid road bike and a great deal for the purchase price.

I've only had this bike for 2 days so take this with a grain of salt, it was fairly easy to put together. I've rode it twice for about an hour or more the past 2 days and both of my rides have gone well and I'm very happy with my purchase. We'll see in the future if my review still stands, but so far this is a great bike for the money. :)
