Big Bang for the Buck, BEST BIKE AT THE BEST COST!

I decided to purchase a bike. After countless weeks of research, I gravitated towards the Villano Diverse 3.0 57cm and purchased it from Amazon because the 57cm was sold out everywhere else (TY Amazon). I received my bike in 5 days and it arrived very well packaged. I started putting it together but the directions were basic instructions for multiple bike models so it was hard to follow (no fault of Amazon). I recommend manufacturer writing separate instructions for each bike so there is no confusion. However, I was pleasantly surprised how much of the bike came assembled already. All I had to do was attach the handle bar, mount the seat, attach the disc for the front brakes to the front wheel, mount the front wheel to the fork, attach the front brake to the disc, screwed on the peddles and added air to both tires, all completed in approximately 45 minutes. I was disappointed that it did not come with a kickstand and had to purchase separately. All spokes were checked and found to be within the proper torque parameters. After putting the bike together, I immediately took it out for a ride. The bike rides great and is comparable to bikes over $600. It is very light and handles very well. This bike is fast, responsive and stable on pavement and gravel and the disc brakes are unbelievably powerful. This bike is by far the BEST bike I ever rode. I would highly recommend it, especially for the price. Finally, I must say out of my 11 friends that test rode my bike, 4 of them purchased it within the first two weeks after riding it and the others are waiting for the 57cm size to become available again on Amazon. Amazon, please stock up on the 57cm size. You have buyers waiting!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)ïŠïŠïŠïŠïŠïŠïŠ
Awesome Bike

The Vilano Hybrid Road Bike arrived very well packed and protected. Assembly was a breeze. Very minimal. The Company followed up with an email tip to check that the wheels were true, and to make other safety adjustments to include a trip to a local bike shop if necessary. This is to be expected as the bike is right out of the box. The ride right out of the box was awesome. I did check for trueness, and had a spoke wrench handy just in case, but no adjustment was necessary for me. Nice light hybrid. Awesome ride. Was nice to ride a bike where the chain didn't slip, and this was without any adjustments to the derailleur. Awesome company, awesome bike.
Great Cheap Bike!

I've ridden this several miles now and have had zero problems with the performance of the bike. I'm six foot even and went with the 57 cm size and it fits, maybe a tad to tall. I assembled it, with zero problems, when it came in, then took it to a local bike shop to have the brakes and gears tuned. This is a road only bike, no trail riding at all for this one. I ride on gravel/paved roads and trails and it works just fine for what I want. I did add a cushioned seat (the Giddy Up! seat), kickstand and lights as well. All in all a great starter bike for paved trail/road riding.
Just a great bike! Why pay hundreds more for the same performance?

Great bike. I was looking for a bike to ride on the ride across Iowa this summer (RAGBRAI) - around 400 miles in 7 days. My wife has a nice hybrid and my mountain bike wasn't going to do the trick even though I had changed the tires and tricked it out for road.
I found this bike at a fantastic price so I bought it.
I put it together in about 30 min. No problem. I did take it out and ride a couple of times before having it tuned. It does need to be tuned!!! After the tune up, it is a great ride! Shifts smooth, great handling.
I am a 250lb man. I put a gel seat cover on it to help the "break in". I now have well over 500 miles on it. It still rides nice.
My mountain bike had shocks in the forks and under the seat. I do miss the shocks as this bike definitely transmits all of the city road bumps right to your buttock area!
We have 2 - 50 mile rides under our belt now. Somewhere around the 40 mile mark I start to get uncomfortable. Perhaps loosing the 50+ pounds as I plan to do riding this bike will help that out.
I am 5'10" and opted for the 57cm frame. Glad I did. It seems big and when straddling it flat footed I have to take care to not crunch the family jewels, but it rides comfortably. I am a fairly large man at 250lbs and wanted enough room on the bike. My mountain bike felt a bit small.
The only thing I think I would change is the gearing. I wish it had a touch higher gearing. Granny gear (all to the left or low gear) is very, very low! It is great for climbing those steep hills, but while it is easy to pedal, you are barely moving fast enough to keep the bike upright! Side by side riding with my wife at 18mph, she is pedaling slower than I am. I think I have enough power to have a higher gear ratio and still be comfortable.
I do love the bike including the looks. It is flat black with silver/white lettering. It isn't flashy like a lot of the fluorescent framed bikes out there now. The breaks work VERY well! I have to be careful not to squeeze too hard like my old bike with rim brakes. I have slid the tires several times on dry pavement when stopping - and that's not easy with a 250lb man sitting on a bike. We got caught in a 20 minute shower last week while riding. No affect on the braking at all! Still stopped very quickly and easily. My wifes wet rims and rubber pads were a different story!

Nice light bike

Nice light bike. Change the saddle immediately if you care about your sensitive parts. My main gripe - and I haven't solved it yet - is that it leans slightly to one side (the left) when riding no-hands.
There was one tricky bit of assembly. I couldn't get the front disk brake to spin freely without adding a spacer (washer). See picture.
Sizewise: You should not be shorter than about 5'9 to clear the crossbar on the 53cm comfortably.
