Works great. Used many times indoors and out. I think all brands can be tough to see the laser when in bright sunlight.
I wish there were more ways to attach it. It comes with an 'L' bracket, that I was able to clamp to a 2x4, but there are dowels in the bracket that govern how it can attach to the laser

...this little laser is a delight to use. It works perfectly and works with you intuitively - as if I designed it. Solidly built, very nice case, well-thought out magnetic bracket and attaches to my tripods. I especially like the continuous wall to ceiling setback line for tile grout lines - no more eyeballing or wasting time laying out as the self leveling feature is flawless. Thank you, China!

This Laser Level's beam projects well when used in a standard bedroom. I used it to install curtain rods and it was right on the mark. It does need to be almost the same height as the line you are projecting, so I used the magnet feature and stuck it to the top rung of my stepladder because of the height of the line I needed. The cross-line feature is nice, too. For the self-leveling to work, make sure you push the "On" button all the way to the end. The middle of the 3 positions on the button is not self-leveling, and it took me a minute to realize the button could actually move further.

Product works as it should. The difference between this and the more expensive models is the thickness of the lines. At 6' the line is more than 1/16'. That's a bit too much for my taste but can be used for less accurate work. Also if you notice whether you use the top or bottom of the line as a reference.

Great laser level. Very bright and works under all conditions inside my house. I kind of mistook how the gimbal works though. I was incorrectly thinking I could tilt this at an angle to shoot a horizontal level higher up. However, the gimbal does not work if you are outside of 3* level. Therefore, if you need a laser level shot up high, you need to prop it on something, use a stand (I use my DSLR camera stand, fits perfectly), etc. Not an issue with the product or instructions, simply my mistake. Sharing in case it's helpful to anyone.
