Beware! Many impurities in this tea!!

I was super excited when I found this ORGANIC tea at a good price but my excitement was quickly diminished by the disappointing poor quality of this product :( I have used the tea a few times and as I kept using it, I kept finding more and more random impurities! So far, I pulled out a pebble, a hair (possibly bunny or cat's), a small piece of red yarn and a small violet flower... I overlooked the pebble and hair at first thinking it may gotten there from the field "hair is so light it flies" but then when I came across the flower and yarn, it made me question what exactly am I drinking?! It could be mixed with other plants that may or may not be harmful and as of now I am about to Throw the whole bag in garbage.
I refrain from negative reviews but I just had to write this one as a warning to other customers such as myself .
On the other hand, I wrote a message to customer service and they gave me a refund .
Still, I feel uneasy thinking about the mixture of this impure tea !

The best pregnancy supplement!

I read that red raspberry leaves helped with pregnancy symptoms, strengthened uterine muscles, and helped to efface the cervix when approaching the due date, which leads to shorter labor and delivery. I began drinking it at 34 weeks at 1-2 cups daily. First thing I noticed was that my hot flashes decreased and braxton hicks became much less uncomfortable. I ended up going into labor at 39 weeks and 2 days. The total elapsed time between my first contraction and delivery was approximately 3 hours. I gave birth >20 min after entering the L&D ward. I can't say for sure how much of that was due to this product, but this is my second child and first vaginal delivery. My first child was born via emergency C-section, following medical induction at 36 weeks and two days of labor. I am now a week and a half PP and my uterus has shrunk down much faster than anticipated. I also took evening primrose oil every few days for the final two weeks.

Red raspberry leaf tea was recommended by my midwife (and trained herbalist) for pregnancy. I ordered 1lb because I'm supposed to drink 1 cup per trimester each day, so currently in my second trimester I'm drinking 2 cups a day. Well, luckily I really enjoy RRL tea, because 1lb is a HUGE bag! Which I should have realized, because dried leaves are light, but large in volume.
There are some small stems included with the leaves, which isn't affecting taste or quality. The taste is very mild, I sometimes add a dash of honey, sometimes just plain. I've read complaints about the taste in other reviews... to me it tastes like a very mild herbal tea. I also drink a large variety of different teas (green, black, earl grey, herbal, etc) so the taste doesn't phase me.
The resealable bag is holding up nicely so far, the leaves are staying fresh. If I ever run out, I'll be back to buy more.

The raspberry leaves come in a large sealed bag and for those wondering how much tea is in the bag, let me say that there is a lot of raspberry leaves in the package that should last quite a long time. According to the bag, my tea has an expiration date of 6/6/20, so it appears to be freshly packaged. According to the label, these are Bulgarian raspberry leaves distributed by a company in Seattle.
My better half got the raspberry leaves because her acupuncturist recommended this in combination with clover tea to help her menstruation and reproductive system. She steeps the clover tea with raspberry leaves to make a blended tea flavor combination. The raspberry leaves seem to be is good quality and tastes fresh. She indicates that the combination seems to be helping her system but will update with any long term results.

This stuff is the absolute best. I bought a bag as a last ditch effort to curb very severe menstrual pains(we're talking "opioids don't help and crying in a ball on the couch for a week" bad) and I'm SO glad that I did.
Regarding the quality of the tea, it couldn't be better. The bag is huge! The leaves are ground pretty fine, super light and fluffy, and there is a LOT packed into each bag. The fragrance is decadent, and the tea when brewed is slightly acidic and has an earthy raspberry flavor. Don't steep too long or it will become bitter.
As for the supposed "health benefits", it DOES work! I've been drinking a cup per day (or 2 during menstruation) along side staying on a very low carbohydrate diet and I have virtually no pain when dreaded Shark Week comes. There's not a dramatic difference just using the tea by itself but it really is helpful with the use of other pain control methods. I strongly recommend this one!
