Great rack - cheap screws
HeidiDecember 4, 2017
I would give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the cheap screws that were provided. I split the set in half to make two sets - one for my garage and one for my shed. I like the option to set the supports at different heights. I did that in the shed to fit my fold away gazebo and Bull Bag.
I ended up using stronger screws (same length) since every time I tried to screw in the one's provided the heads snapped off. This can be installed with one person (I was able to) but, if you have someone to help than it'll go a lot easier.
Created much needed space

Mounted on my wall in the garage. The screws are cheap and snapped as soon as I put a little torque on them. So, I replaced them with 3-1/2" deck screws. I filled all the racks up with 2x6x12's, PT 2x4x12's, PT4x4x8's, and various other sizes. Seems sturdy. easy to install and put together.
Nice looking materials

Disappointing in that as mounted with 6 screws, they support very little weight. Plan on using these to store LIGHT assorted items. I put six of 1×6×74" Birch boards & it wasn't 3 seconds before they tore off the wall. Escaped Injury.
Changed scres to lag bolts & that helped. Still
Plan on just getting a few things off the countertops & a few light bulky items. Unless you put huge plates on the backside of the wall, this is just for very light storage. Nice looking materials, well painted, easy assembly.
Not JUST for Lumber Storage
Dr. PNovember 5, 2017
This storage rack is pretty awesome. It is all steel, very strong, and easy to assemble. I'm sure it would work very well for lumber, but I've found other uses for them.

I've covered the arms with foam pipe insulation and use two sets, one over the other, to store my water skis in the garage. They are deep enough to handle a pair of skis, a wakeboard, a surf board, or a knee board.

My third set is used in the tool shed to hang my blower, string weeder, edger, and anything else that needs to be stored out of the way,
Comparing to other brands. Thumbs up.

These are great quality and very sturdy. I brought a different brand for the top shelves first then I found this brand it was a little less in costs but exactly the same quality as the other brand I purchased first. Very happy this helps store wood off the ground for less clutter. Plus it helps stay so organized and it's easy to access. The only difference between this brand and the other is that this brand doesn't have holes on the end of the shelves. The holes at the ends are to attach hardware for when needing to stack and store round woods such as dowel rods and to prevent the dowels from rolling off the shelves. I just store my dowels next to the shelves instead. Additionally, the hardware included (Drywall/stud screws) were not the best and two snapped during installation. I simply used my own 3" Exterior stud Screws instead and the shelves I feel are better with my own Screws instead of those provided. I didn't mind so much when these screws provided didn't work because the other brand didn't provide screws at all, so really it didn't bother me. I would suggest using different screws found at your local hardware store. I would also recommend to find the studs, I'm not sure how confident I'd be if I didn't find the studs for each metal rods.
