Wow, where have these things been all my life? I've spent more hours in an office chair than I probably have anything else over my life. Out of all the chairs I've been through, my primary concern has always been the support and comfort. I've worn places on my hardwood floors, gone through countless plastic mats and fought with scooting a foot or two.

I was looking for a new mat and found an excellent rug that I liked better than the typical mat. I knew from prior experience that the standard wheels on my chair wouldn't play nice with anything other than a hard surface, so I stumbled across these wheels. Installation was all of 2 minutes and I can't believe I've gone 30+ years without trying these out. They work perfectly.

I could have chair races now and easily win I think. Moving around feels so much easier. I don't think I need the rug I found, although I really like it and my chair rolls well on it, so they are buds now. I can't see not having these on any chair I use going forward. And best thing is that they pop off, so when that times comes to replace the next chair, it'll be a couple minutes to swap out the tires and be back in business.

The only downside to these wheels is that it raises your height an inch or so. A lot of chairs are right on the borderline for their height to the desk, so be prepared to replace your gas lift if you are sitting at the lowest position already. I happened to have just a little play left in my height and my desk is adjustable height, so I adapted. My wife liked them and wanted some for her chair, although I had to replace the lift because the chair ended up too high and wouldn't scoot close enough under the desk for her.

Really happy with these and wish I'd tried them much sooner.

I really like these wheels. I've purchased many many before for other chairs that I've had throughout my career and I always try to grab the skateboard-style wheels. I have a really nice fairly expensive office chair from LaZBoy that came with your typical garbage plastic dual wheels on each leg.

Unfortunately for me, I am living in an apartment for the next several months while we look for a house, and my office in this apartment has carpet. I couldn't get the other wheels to roll at all no matter what kind of deskmat I used or how I arranged things. As soon as I put these wheels on the chair was rolling around really well. Obviously not as great as when I take it into the living room on the hardwood where I could literally race around, but still much better than with the stock wheels and definitely adequate for my daily needs especially with a nice thick desk mat between these wheels and the carpet.

Overall I highly recommend the products. Does exactly what it promises to do. Extremely easy to install. Really nice build quality. And a very fair price.

Bought a set of these wheels back in May of this year for my secretlab chair. I game a lot so I'm on my chair often at my desk. I like to wheel around to grab things off my work desk or from my bed if I need to. I have wood floors and the sound is nonexistent, don't need to worry about my neighbors hearing every move my chair makes. I have a small fuzzy rug at my bed and my chair wheels over it just fine, almost like it's not even there (though I try not go over it anyways). Definitely cant do that in the stock wheels the chair comes with. I can't tell if there's wear and tear on it because it's remained smooth so far. Still looks just as clean and great as its arrival. Totally worth the money, and very glad I bought them. I'm about to purchase another for another chair I ordered.

They work as advertised with one caveat. They do not roll so well without resistance on low pile carpeting with padding. I just had a Berber carpet installed in my office and wanted something that would eliminate the use of a mat. While these do roll easy over carpeting when there is no weight on the chair, they do create little divots in the carpet when one sits in the chair. Since the roll nicely but do not swivel so well, one tends to get stuck in the divots. Back and forth is not as much of a problem as side to side. They almost solved my problem but not quite which is why a subtracted a star. I still have to use the mat. I am not sure there is a set of casters out there that would solve my problem but I am done trying. I hope these casters hold up as long as the chair does.

They roll over carpet very well, turn well and look great. One caution - they may not initially fit your cheap Staples office chair if it has a slightly smaller than 7/16" diameter stem on the caster. I have 2 of those chairs that are not in the "fits 98%" category. I thought about returning the wheels but instead used a 7/16" drill bit and expanded ever so slightly the stem receiver in the Staples chairs. It turns out that the stem receiver is made of plastic so it took only a few minutes to drill out all 5 receivers. There was sufficient plastic that chair stability was not compromised. (Tip: Do only one pass with the drill bit.) I am still very happy with the purchase after two months of use.
