The savor I needed

My dorm room has no screen for the window and bugs were constantly flying in. I needed a quick fix fast! I command stripped this netting up and I no longer have any problems with bugs!

Works well to keep out garden pests, especially the cabbage butterfly! I like it even better than row cover (during the summer and early fall) because I can see through it and assess plant health without having to open up the covering. And being a mess, rain passes through it better than row cover (which often sheets the rain). I only wish it were available in custom sizes. For every three pieces that I ordered, I got two coverings, as my beds are 16' long and I need 21.5' lengths to cover the full length and the ends. Fortunately, I have a sowing machine. So I cut one piece in half, and stitched the half pieces each to a full piece to get the length I needed. Attached photos show one short bed (8') and one long bed (16')
The orangutans at our zoo love fabric of various types

Although our use is far from what the product is intended for, it has been a huge hit. The orangutans at our zoo love fabric of various types, and when it was suggested to us that this might be something new for them to enjoy, we placed an order. We continue to order and they love wrapping themselves up in it.
As mentioned in our review, this is very popular, especially with Lucy!

No More Holes in My Kale!
Stanley✓ Verified Purchase•June 5, 2017
I like to grow kale to make smoothies, but every year, I'm fighting the cabbage butterflies (those cute little white butterflies that love to fly around plants and gardens) that lay their eggs on my leaves. The result is a little green caterpillar that can really decimate a plant quickly and they're very good at hiding.
A couple of years ago, I saw a video by a YouTuber called "Late Bloomer" who used the material like this to cover her kale. Her plants were perfect and I wanted to achieve that too.
This fabric does the job perfectly and I have had several harvests of perfect organic kale this season already. I highly recommend this fabric to protect your kale or any garden plants that are susceptible to insect damage. It's sheer enough to let the sunlight and rain through and I've had no problem with growth.
I use these with Earthboxes and large rubber bands (also purchased on Amazon). I have covered two boxes that I still have a lot of fabric left. Also thankful for Amazon because my local independent garden centers don't carry it.
