I wanted a case that I could slip my glasses in and out of quickly. Soft cases like this don't offer a lot of protection, but they stay on my bed for watching TV so this is what I was looking for.

I haven't had it long enough to determine how well the lining will last,but it seems to be well made -especially considering the price. I had hoped it would be all leather as the cases the optician gives me tend to suffer from fraying/loosening of the lining, but time will tell
