I took a chance on these after watching some youtube fashionista dudes telling me how great they work. I am glad I did.
These take a 20 dollar shirt and make it look like a 100 or 200 dollar shirt.
Jacket or no jacket, your collar looks like a million dollars. Well, they fix the problems with your placket. However, most of us do not really know what a placket is....so let's just say collar.
It was easy to find someone to install them. I went to two cleaners and an alteration place. All did it perfectly. One of the cleaners did it for five bucks a shirt. The other two charged 10. I took the majority of the shirts to the 5 dollar option.
I get compliments for being well dressed using these. It takes your game to the next level.
I originally bought a ten pack. I got them installed, and after a week of wearing my shirts with the million dollar collar, I bought another ten pack.
I do have some issues with my collar touching my neck. But this is a trivial issue. A small price to pay for compliments.
I WILL NEVER WEAR A SHIRT WITHOUT THESE INSTALLED AGAIN!
Seriously. NEVER.
The blue and white Calvin Klein in the photo has been laundered three times since the installation. I have worn it four times (with an undershirt) without taking it back to the cleaners for this photo and look at how great it looks (considering it is on its 4th wear without washing).
The only shirt in the photos without one is the DKNY. It is fairly fresh from the cleaners, and I have not worn it yet. Look at the sad collar on it compared to the million dollar collars.
I will not wear it again unless I put the million dollar collar in it.
