Sold and great looking shakers that will work with kosher salt!

Very nice looking and well constructed. Theses shakers aren't heavy, but definitely feel solid and give a sense of quality. It is most important to note that I purchased these shakers for Kosher salt, which is much larger than normal table salt and won't fit through the holes of a standard shaker. Kosher salt also does not work in a grinder, so but I wound up finding these. I looked at several place and if I found something, it was junk and I couldn't even tell if it would work. The top part with the holes has 4 sections that can be rotated around, so you can choose which quarter section meets your needs.
Sections are;
1)Small holes that might be slightly larger than standard
2) Large holes that are big enough for kosher salt (YES!) and plenty of other large spices
3) Completely open allowing for easy pouring when measuring large quantities
4)Completely closed to help keep moisture out.
A simple twist rotates the plastic wheel at the top with the sections. There is a quarter "pie" shaped cutout in the stainless steel top that shows your chosen section while all others remain blocked.
I have not experienced any spillage or leakage. The shaker is easy to hold and the grip is comfortable and secure.

It still remains to be seen how these are going to make it through the summer humidity, but I must say they've made it through four days of steady rain without beads of moisture on the top or clogging on the bottom. I've got regular table salt in one and kosher salt in the other, and both are working fine. Will update if anything changes during the summer, but I've got my hopes up. If they make it without rust and corrosion on top, they'll be the only ones I've ever had that do.
8/30/17 They made it!! The only shakers I've ever had over decades and decades that have actually managed to protect my salt from clumping during the most humid part of the summer. Both kinds of salt fine. Congratulations to the makers. I'll be ordering another pair soon.

I love these shakers! I love being able to adjust the pour spout to my liking. It was very easy to open and fill with my salt and pepper. I loved it so much I ordered a second set (different color) the day this package arrived. I'm going to use the next set for my onion powder and garlic powder! 😊 The product maker (owner?) even emailed me to see how the shakers were working out, and if I was satisfied. 5 stars for the product and customer service!

I needed to replace some shakers in my kitchen and elsewhere, and came upon these. The more features I read about, and the majority of good reviews are what made me buy both the red and the stainless steel ones.
Pros:
1. The shaker top allows me to choose among four settings: (a) small holes, (b) bigger holes (c) pour spout, and (d) closed completely. This allows these shakers to be used for much, much more than just salt and pepper.
2. I like the way the top screws on just enough to keep it secure, and then it comes off easily in order to fill the glass portion.
3. I'm glad they didn't label these "salt" and "pepper," as they can be used for spices and other things. Besides, there's enough glass at the bottom so that one can easily see what's in each one.
4. These appear to be of very good quality. With the red ones, I'm hoping that the color has been baked all the way through, so I guess time will tell.
My only wish is that these had been made in the USA instead of China. However, Chinese-made stuff is a fact of life, and a lot of good-quality things come from there.
If you want a really great and versatile set of shakers, you can't go wrong with these.

Have been through numerous sets of salt and pepper shakers over the course of time, and these are by far the best in functionality. Really like the smart design which allows for 3 different options to dispensing the contents; very easy to turn the top to choose the hole size or to keep fully closed; turning the top does not affect the secure jar screw top which keeps the contents in. The middle "jacket" is cosmetic only, but nice streamline design. I also like that you can see the actual contents on the bottom clear glass jar/bottle portion to know what's in the shaker and when to refill. I purchased the black and white set to use for salt and pepper, but might go back for the red set to use for cayenne and red chili flakes. Very nice addition to my kitchen!
