0 Star!! Thermometer is useless! Defective, see in picture that fluid for temperature reading is inverted and does not move. Do not buy this product and get ripped off like I did. Can't return to Amazon and vendor non responsive.

It arrived on time and in good condition, but we were surprised by the size of it since it was described as "large." It is much smaller than our previous thermometer and the numbers are very difficult to read, especially outside in the bright sun. So far, it is reading a temp that is several degrees warmer than our previous thermometer so we're not sure which is accurate. Overall, I'm certain it will do it's job...but we sure would prefer larger numbers to make it easier to read.

Good replacement. Did not want anything large or floating. My only other preference would have been a digital thermometer w/a phone app and integrates into my smart home hub so I can check temp remotely and more easily but didn't find such a device. I thought this was a good price also and the temp reading is easier than the one that fell apart.

The thermometer itself is great - seems accurate, good size, etc. However the cord had to be replaced after only 6 weeks as it kept breaking off and was finally too short to use. It could easily be broken just by tugging it with two hands. Since a pool thermometer has to be in the water all of the time to function, the cord needs to be stronger (like nylon rather than cotton cording).

Excellent pool thermometer. Easy to read and very accurate as we compare against the readings on our heat pump. I would buy this again.
