I would want something sturdier on a full size door or outdoor gate, but it is perfect for a cupboard that refuses to stay closed on its own anymore. Have to keep the cats out of the linens!! The one star off is for the little "ears" on one side. I realize its a security feature in design, but in the practicality of my life it is a slight annoyance.
