Amazing Bike Lights from Activ Life

Purchased a set of green lights. The Activ Lites arrived much earlier than expected and the product came in well a protected packaging as well as original packaging. When you first open the box, everything is really organized and instructions are easy to follow. I was going to unwrap the entire string (which could have doubled or tripled the time to install) but luckily I received an email from Activ Life about their how-to install video which was really kind and professional of them, so the installation only took less than 10 minutes. Overall, the product is very sturdy and is able to withstand rain, high winds, and in my case (I have a mountain bike) dirt. I haven't had any issue with the product at all. My favorite aspect of this product is you really ARE visible to everyone even at farther distances. The lights on this product are extremely bright and the battery chamber has a water resistant seal which really shows the product is worth purchasing if you were concerned with biking in wet elements or increasing visibility at night.

I got these lights to add a little flair to one of my old road bikes as we move into the fall season. The lights installed easily and look great. Shortly after the arrival of the kit the Activ Life people sent an e-mail with a video tutorial on how to install them. That was a nice touch but not really needed since it was so easy. I would recommend these for sure to anyone wanting to add fun to urban night riding.

Love it. Visibility is great. I had my boyfriend follow me home from work late at night and according to him they are very visible and look great. I place white on the front to help light the path and red on the back to help vehicles spot me. I would like to see orange become available. I bike everywhere, minus groceries and post office so these are a great addition to my bike. I have a 26 inch wheel and they fit great.

I bought the pink lights first, then loved them so much that I came back to purchase the blue ones. These lights are nice and bright, making it easy to see the rider at night. The lights can be turned on or off with the push of a button and you can also choose to have the lights be blinking or still. The best part is they were really easy for me to install. The instructions are simple, but I did watch a YouTube video tutorial just to be certain that I installed them correctly. I highly recommend these lights to anyone!

OK; so I rarely write reviews, but I've been meaning to write this one for months. I have two of these on my bike - red in back in white in front. I have also purchased a pair for my boyfriend and two more pairs for a couple of coworkers.
I bike to work everyday, including in winter since the weather here in the Bay Area is generally so mild, and have been doing it for over 20 years. As I get older, I'm less inclined to take risks, and riding at night is one of those risks I reevaluate constantly.
Well, these lights have made me go from hating to ride at night to feeling kind of bummed that the days are now getting longer and I'll have fewer opportunities to show them off.
I can tell by drivers' actions how much more visible I am with these lights. They are also super-hip, and other bicyclists, as well as pedestrians and even drivers stop to comment on them and chit-chat. To me that means community-building, probably an unintended but clear side benefit. Finally, since you have to wrap them around your spokes, they're really difficult to steal. Someone would have to sit there for two minutes or more unwinding the wire back and forth, and then cut the zip ties, which would be difficult. Not worth the trouble or the risk of getting caught.
To wrap up, a shout out to the manufacturers. The rear light on the first pair I bought pooped out after a few months. I contacted the manufacturer, and they got back to me within hours with a code to get a 100% discount on a new one purchased here on Amazon. No need to ship it back, no hassle, no charge of any kind. Within a couple of days I had a new light in my hands.
So, yeah, happy customer indeed. I anticipate buying more of these for friends and family, because they're inexpensive to boot.
