I got this fan to circulate more heat around my living room from my wood stove. It works as it should and is pretty much silent. I cant honestly say it makes a huge difference. It does blow air and there is a slight difference in room temperature when I dont use it. I do have to take care not to get the stove too hot because of the manufacturers warning that it might damage the fan. Its probably a good thing that I have to check the stove temp every so often and not run it too hot. Its a decent fan..but dont expect too much.

it may be doing something to help with the heat but really it serves as a conversation piece for now. i give it five stars just because i paid what i think is a lot of money for something like this.......thank God i didnt buy it in town at one of our fireplace shops in town as they are selling theirs for 300 bucks yowza! anyway i havent had it in all weather situations yet, has been kind of warm here since I got it so may edit this review later. you can hardly feel air when you have your hand in front of the blade.
