New to cycling so I don't have much to compare this bike to. But I do recommend taking advantage of Amazon's free shipping and assembly at your local bike shop. The shipping and assembly was quick, and I got fitted on the bike at the store. You get to build a relationship with your local bike shop and they've already corrected several assembly defects from the factory. I've only put about 70 miles on the bike so far, but it's riding great. The seat is a bit uncomfortable, but part of that is just getting used to riding long distances, but I do imagine replacing the seat sometime soon. Overall great entry level bike for the price.
Considering how hard it is to get bikes right now, this is a good option

After my beloved Fuji NEWEST got stolen, I went to my local Trek store ready to spend money to buy a replacement. They said they would be happy to take my order and that my bike could be in as soon as next August (in October). So I tried every other bike shop around, all the same story. Because of COVID you can not get a bike in NYC right now.
With not much to loose, I ordered this bike on Amazon for about $1000. It came a few days later, I put it together in about 15 minutes, and was back on the road.
Is this is Tommaso Forcella a good bike? It is a fine bike. There is nothing wrong with it, it rides fine, the components are fine, it gets me to where I need to go. Is it a $1000 bike? A year ago I would have said no. This is maybe comparable to a $700 Trek or Fuji. But you can't buy those right now, so I'd say this $1000 bike *today* is worth the same as a $700 Trek next summer - at least to me.

This has to be one of the best bikes you can buy in this price range. I ride a few times a week and I am extremely pleased with the Forcella. The bike is light enough (for an entry level) and the ride is really comfortable (great geometry and carbon fork).

Great fast bike however Amazon advertised free assembly for bikes bought on Amazon and then after we bought it the free assembly advertisement went away and so we called Amazon customer service twice and neither of the representatives had any idea of what we r talking about it so then we said S.O.L to us and decided to have it paid to get it assembled, only problem was that we took it to a "professional" bike assembly shop in our area and it turns out they never put a road bike together before and told us that our bike was poor manufactured because the wheels were oval. Then we thought great S.O.L on is again but then we spent a little more money at a different bike pro shop and they knew exactly what it was and assembled the bike correctly. 4 stars for the bike 1 Star for the hassle and 0 stars for Amazon non existent free assembly advertisement that spontaneously disappeared from their website and a straight negative stars to the amazon representatives that had no idea what we were talking about.
