Great value flash

Love these flashes, and work terrific with the dedicated transmitter. I have three of them now and they take a lot of abuse.

Yet another piece needed for a large shoot. It is great that while I'm preparing for a shoot, see that I need a particular piece either for a specific type of session or just need to replace my old ones, I can find it here. This is good quality, seller was fast and helpful. I'll continue to buy from here again.
Won't communicate well with flash transmitters or other RT flashes.

Although this flash is built well, it will not communicate well with a Canon 5D IV and either the Phottix Laso transmitter or the OEM Canon ST-E3-RT transmitter. All the other flashes in my setup fired well and communicated except for this Yongnuo. If this is your only flash, or you're not running in a group of other speed lights and want reliable connectivity, then this flash might work for you. I returned it and will stick with OEM Canon.

The flash works great, as expected, and is easy to use. The buttons and menu settings are easy to navigate. For those of you with older flash equipment, it works great with the Yongnuo YN-622C flash controller and YN622C II transceivers.

I don't usually write reviews but.. I had this a month. Used it twice. Now it won't even allow me to do anything. It turns on and the overheating icon appears even after it hasn't been used in a week with fresh batteries. This is the second one that has done it. I should've learned the first time.
