Ever since Matcha has became a popular health food I've been trying to find one that I like. Almost every one I've tried so far has tasted like seaweed, in other words it was pretty nasty. This one on the other hand it delicious. I tried just mixing it with hot water and some coconut milk at first and it was pretty good!
However, I found an even better way to make it!

I mix a teaspoon and a half of the Matcha powder, some vanilla powder, stevia powder, and a little bit of hot water and then mix it together until there are no clumps. Then I add a cup of brewed Salada Matcha and Lemongrass tea. I top it off with a little bit of coconut milk. It's absolutely delicious. The lemony flavor from the brewed tea really balances out the flavor and makes it taste even more refreshing.

I highly recommend it to anyone who has been trying to find the right matcha and just hasn't had any luck yet.

My daughter loves green tea frappochino and she spend $6 and some everyday on these drinks at Starbucks. I bought her this powder and all she needs to make her own at home. I have nothing to compare this to but it is SO good with hot SoDelicious Coconut milk and my little Ikea milk frother! I read today that one cup of macha is equal to the benefits of 10 cups of green tea, wow! It's a tiny little bag but at 1/2 to 1 tsp per drink, I think I'll get maybe 30 cups out of this bag. Worth the purchase.

First time trying matcha powder so I don't really know what I'm talking about. I have had matcha flavored drinks and food items before though.I really liked this stuff. I've used it for lattes and a cake. I even tried it with just hot water to see how it tasted. I know that preparation is usually done with ceremonial grade but it tasted pretty good to me! I would definitely buy this again for lattes, smoothies, baking and will probably prepare it with just hot water again sometime.

Recently I've come to love iced green tea lattes at Starbucks and Scooters, which both use matcha tea. With how yummy it tastes plus it being healthy because of all the antioxidants, it's totally my new favorite drink. I ordered this product so I could make some at home. When the package first got here I was a little surprised at how small of pouch it was for almost ten dollars, but after researching some recipes and realizing most matcha green tea lattes only use one half to one full teaspoon of matcha, I realized it was a good deal considering the pouch contains 15 teaspoons. So you're getting about 15 drinks instead of 2 for the price, since Starbucks and Scooter's are about $5 per drink.
I'll be honest, I hated the first latte I made with this stuff. However, after playing with the recipe a bit, I've found a delicious one that I absolutely LOVE!
Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte:
-1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
-4 oz. hot water
-8 oz. milk
-vanilla extract
-honey
-ice
1. Mix the green tea powder in the hot water. Stir.
2. Then mix in a drop of vanilla extract and honey to taste. Stir well.
3. Add milk and stir.
4. Add ice.
Ta-da! Delicious matcha iced latte!

I will definitly be buying this product again!

Side note: the package states that if you are interested in the traditional tea preparation of Matcha, "You'll want to use our Ceremonial grade instead. This Culinary Grade is better for blending and cooking."
