These brushes hold and apply paint very smoothly. When pressed down to create a straight edge, the edge is not even, however, the edges are solid enough to be able to easily handle straight lines in a painting. I use acrylics and tempura. I like these brushes and for the price, they're a steal.

This set of synthetic brushes features varied sizes for different applications and is reasonable in cost so that I can have 3 sets: for watercolor, acrylic, and oils. I like the short handles too, which don't get in the way especially when I work with a tabletop easel or do close work. With this assortment, I won't be needing other brushes for most projects.

These are great brushes. I have used them about 6 or 7 times now and have not had any issues. I am a beginner but from what I can tell, these are leagues above any others I have tried. None of the bristles have fallen off and they seem pretty high quality.

I've had these for a couple of weeks and really like them. The handle is comfortable, and the brushes hold a lot of water/pigment.
