Hard to apply but great scent

I tried this self tanning dry oil after a recommendation from a blogger. I have extremely fair skin and I burn easy, so I have tried over 20 different brands of self tanning products. The single best factor of the Bondi Sands is the wonderful scent. I am allergic to perfume, but the slight coconut scent does not bother my allergies, and even my husband said it smelled delicious. This is the one advantage this product has over other self tanners.
Unfortunately, I find this product difficult to apply and blend. First of all, the pump spray on the bottle does not work well at certain angles, making it difficult to apply to the back of the legs. Second, even thought I am using an applicator mitt, it is difficult to blend this product--even though I really worked at it I still had some streaks on my legs that I never experience with other products.
Once applied, the color lasted really well over several days, and had a natural color. Unfortunately, I had streaks, so I didn't really want it to last!
I love the scent so much, I may try one of the companies non oil products, but I won't be buying this one again.

This is by far my favorite sunless tanner. It's incredibly easy to apply, and it leaves my skin feeling soft.
Pros:
Streak free! I seriously NEVER, ever, ever streak. I do make sure I blend very well however
Doesn't build up around elbows/wrists/ankles etc like other formulas do (however, I do take precautions with an usually moisturize those areas)
Natural looking color
Fairly long lasting tan (particularly if you layer it with the everyday Liquid Gold)
Holds up to summer sweat and gym workouts without easily rubbing off
Doesn't transfer onto clothes as it develops
Cons:
No color guard, so you really need to blend, blend, blend with a mitt.
Does eventually fade off a little patchy in some areas, which can be avoided by simply exfoliating in the shower, applying the oil post shower and going about your day
It felt rather tacky/sticky for about 15-30 minutes
It really did take about 8 hours to develop full color, so this is better used at night time
I absolutely recommend this product! It's a life changer!

Was a bit skeptical ordering this bcuz ive never used a fake tanner like this before or spray tanned ever. Im from laguna Beach so ive always been tan normally but moving to the northeast has turned me white as a ghost. Some people reviewed this as coming out streaky and being a disaster or coming out perfectly. Mine was not streaky at all but perfect! Minus my thumbs, but that can be easily fixed with an alcohol swab. I found the best way to apply it is by using a big fluffy foundation brush. Spray it directly on the skin and blend it in with the brush. Smells great!

I am a huge fan of Bondi Sands and this is one of my favorite products. It doesn't get you as dark as dark but does give you nice color. It wears off evenly which I love because the foam wears off somewhat blotchy. I love how it is oil based because it moisturizes also. You do have to be careful rubbing it on your skin because it does not have much of a base color like the foam. I have not had a problem with streaking or anything so far. I just make sure to rub it in well with a tanning mitt. I would say it dries within minutes of putting on, but does feel somewhat tacky for the first hour - two hours of wearing it. But then as day goes on I don't even realize I have it on still! You do not need to shower it off like foam. Smell is not as strong as foam, still smells good like coconut and fake tan mixed. Over all, I love it.

I have grown to absolutely love this stuff after a couple of uses. At first I didn't think it was doing enough but once i started using it by itself and paying attention, this is the first self tanner i have used that has that realistic tan glow and it sticks around for days. It's subtle at first but it darkens as you layer it every few days. I don't even have to shave for it to go on well because it's more oily so it spreads beautifully without streaking. It dries quickly so I usually put it on then get dressed and go. I ma very pale and I've have the best luck applying it with a self tanning mitt so it don't get it on my palms.
