I am extremely happy with the Daily Meditation Audio Bible Player. I purchased the New International Version. On a suggestion from my wife, purchased for the times when it is not convenient to crack open a book and read. For example, lying in bed or eating lunch, but times when it would still be a good time to have an activity to do. Now, I can listen to the Daily Meditation Audio Bible Player when I have spare time but it's just not convenient to have a book open in front of me, reading. I will also add that I am hard-of-hearing, myself, and I am pleased to find that Daily Mediation Audio Bible Player has a maximum volume far in excess of what I need to hear it, so it should be recommended for the hard-of-hearing.

I bought this item for non-traditional use - and no, this isn't one of those funny reviews.
For the last 7 years I have been being stalked. The guy is a diehard stalker, outside in the wooded area by my house every night - even followed me when I moved. He sits outside my house and throws rocks, shoots plastic BB's and makes animal noises. I literally had not slept an entire night through until I got this. I realized that this persons actions were spiritual, so every night when I would hear or see him outside I would read the Bible aloud, especially Psalms 91. That would run him off for short spurts of times, though he would always return. Finally, I bought this item, and I turn it on at night when I am headed to bed. The continuous play feature is a huge bonus! Long story short, haven't seen or heard the guy since!!
And for those wondering, yes, I have called the police numerous times and I do have cameras, neither are effective when your house is surrounded by woods.
Recording is clear, pronunciation is distinctive and words are read in a normal speaking speed.

I own (and use!) several Bible audio players and Daily Meditation is the top of the line. It has the most features of any and it the only one with a repeat chapter feature. When it says that after charging it will play up to 12 hours it means up to 12 hours. I own (and use) both the New King James and the NIV, the voices of which are pleasant and dramatic. With my second purchase I had an issue with the order being complete, but the issue was resolved completely and promptly with just a few e-mails. In an era where customer service is getting worse and worse, Daily Mediation came through. If God is calling you to spend more time in His word, order this product and listen, listen listen, upon raising, to help you sleep, and on the go.
