five stars for usefulness! worth every penny. the 4 star is because its so ugly, has an ugly ruffle on it (using for a boy), and each corner is supposed to have two ribbons, and one of our front edges only came with ONE ribbon tie. It sucks that because of the built in metal frame you cant actually wash this in a washing machine and it gets nasty with snotty nosed baby leaning up against the mesh. So far we've used a wet soapy rag on each side of the mesh and rubbed at the same time to try to clean yucky areas. its really annoying that when we yank the mattress up to change the sheet often, that it disrupts the mesh ten parts that goes under the mattress (no way around this really, its just annoying). we always worry its going to rip by having to do this repeatedly. anyway, its worth having and paying !!!

AMAZING. My 2.5 year started climbing out of his crib. He is very tall and can easily defeat the crib. I tried everything...lowering the crib mattress to the floor w/in the crib, turning the crib backwards, using a sleep sac to restrict his legs from climbing and nothing worked... So I was forced at that point to convert my crib to the toddler bed and this was even worse. He is a bit too young for the freedom and was crying every night for a week and not sleeping at all. I saw this as an option and decided to go for it. We rebuilt the crib put the canopy tent in the crib and tried it out. It worked like a charm! My son can no longer craw out of the crib, it's very safe, he feels safe in the tent (he calls it his power ranger tent) and I can sleep. I recommend this to anyone that has a little climber. Thank you to the creator of this tent!

I love the idea of the safety tent (as my son calls it a dream tent). However, 2 draw backs.
1. The mesh completely blocks the image for my baby monitor camera.
2. My child will use the mesh to "step" and as it is taught, it will hold their weight. So if they are in the crib, it has to be zipped close otherwise it can help them climb out.
With both of the draw backs listed, I still love the tent and gained the piece of mind I was looking for.

I Love it!! It's made really nicely. The mattress is removed from the crib, you then put the tent in the crib and put the mattress inside the tent. It ties all the way around. It has 2 zip openings on each side. I bought this because my 19 month old was climbing out of the crib and I don't think he is anywhere near ready for a toddler bed. And I was so scared at night that he would climb out, because he fights sleep and I would have him running around his room. But he's adjusted to it really well and I have no issues. I feel he is safe and I don't have to worry about him getting out. It's great. The only down side is the price, but ultimately it's worth the price for peace of mind! I would recommend it!

My babe was 20 months old and could easily escape from her crib. She's a little monkey. There was nothing I could do to keep her there, so we decided to go for a toddler bed. For three full months she was up ALL NIGHT and wouldn't really nap. It was clear we both needed sleep. With the crib canopy, my little one seems happier in her crib. She seems to like it even more than before. I will keep her in the crib as long as I can.
