These are great! I have several fans in my house that I plugged into these outlets. I also have an old Black Lab who has the worst gas ever. Now I can turn them on using the remote from anywhere when ever the dog drops a bomb on us.
These are also great for lamps around the house. No need to stretch to turn on or off that lamp behind the couch or in the corner.

Fantastic addition to our Christmas light setup. These remote control outlets make it super easy to turn on/off Christmas trees and other lights that have switches in hard to reach places. The range is good (probably up to 40 feet) and can go through a wall or two. You can choose to control one switch at a time, or all three with a push of a button. They are a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion for convenience alone. We have only used them this year so I cannot speak to the longevity of them, but they seem to be well-constructed and reliable. I highly recommend these outlets.
