I purchased this board so I can actually press my yardage efficiently. I have been using a standard ironing board in my sewing room for years. Why did I wait so long to upgrade!? Like others have said, its on the heavy side. That isn't an issue for me because it's staying where it is, lol! That being said, it feels sturdy and well made. The cover isn't great (ill fitting) so I docked a star, but I can whip something up for it no problem. The handle is nice and thick and secured well.

My housekeeper asked for this so she could iron the bed sheets. Make sure you have a sturdy ironing board to attach it to, but other than that she loves it. And I love it because I don't have to iron my sheets!

Great for quilters to expand the ironing board. The extra length is very helpful and the full rectangular shape is great. It would be even better if it was 24" deep instead of 22". It is quite heavy so plan on a second person to help put it up on the ironing board.
