It makes seating bearing races more accurate and easier. Taking out the common, crooked insertion problem.

The tool set worked well. The quality of the material and construction is good. These are angled more for wheel bearing races and less so do engine and transmission race bearing replacement. I was able to get some of these to work and they worked well. I would confirm your races sizes before ordering. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

Needed to swap a diff seal on a 06 Trailblazer 4.2L I6 4x4. These made it much easier to install the new one.

It does what I asked of it. Drove in a very tight pinion bearing race on a Dana 30 front axle. It would have been nice if the handle / beater bar was a bit longer for my use, but I seriously beat on it and it did the job and survived. Being made of aluminum to prevent race damage, I honestly thought that I was going to destroy it as hard as I hit the handle with a lead mallet. But its good to go for more abuse.
