Lack of Clear Instructions, Went Through Both Sets...Disappointed!

I bought a brand new Vita and went ahead and bought this brand of screen protectors based on the highest ratings out of all brands available on Amazon. I was hoping to be able to just apply these to my brand new system and not ever have to worry about causing any damage to my new purchase. That didn't end up happening and I can't say I am impressed. The thing that bothers me about this product is that there are no clear instructions on how to apply these to the Vita and I ended up going through both sets because I couldn't get them aligned with the screen and back touchpad. Also worth noting, I was working in a dust free area and also had a can of air to make sure no dust ended up on the adhesive side of the screen protector. Somehow between meticulously cleaning the screen and making sure that it was free of dust, I still ended up with dust under the protector. Not to mention, there were still air bubbles that wouldn't come out and they ended up in the trash because they just wouldn't go on properly. All I can really say is, I feel as if it was a waste of $8 and the additional $6 I paid to expedite them. Not happy with the product at all.

They work. If you've ever installed a phone screen protector it's the same game. This is only for the front screen and covers a little outside of the screen area. I did have an issue with mine though. The corners won't stick no matter what I do. I figured it wouldn't be a huge issue considering I bought a silicone case at the same time to house the unit and hide some unsightly damage, but it turns out the case has just enough wiggle room to not hold the edges down.
I've only used one protector so far since I didn't want to waste one on something as small as some edge issues, but I'm really hoping it's not going to be the same issue with both. The one really nice perk of this protector is that other scratches underneath the glass aren't visible. It almost looks like I have a new vita, which is saying something since I bought it used from a kid that didn't take care of it.
I'll come back and up my rating if I can get the second one to be flush to the unit. We'll see. So far it's been a great addition for keeping my vita loose in my bag"” something I wouldn't even do with my phone. So we will see.

These screen protectors are great. I installed them using the steam method, I only needed one as it went fine. The packaging is great too. My only complaint is there is no soft dust cloth provided, only wet and dry wipes, also no plastic piece to help rub out air bubbles to be fair, I did not use any of the wipes as I have other screen cloths and I use a cleaner for eye glasses. Over all a good product if you have the other supplies. This is what is included in the box... 2 screen protectors individually packaged, 2 pieces of blue film tape, 2wet and 2 dry wipes.

These screen protectors seem to be pretty solid. The only thing I didn't like was the alcohol cleaning kit that came with it didn't really clean my screen. It left a residue that the included drying cloth wouldn't remove. I used a microfiber cleaning cloth (not included) to remove it. The dust removal sticker is useless, at least for me it was. The screen protector itself was one of the easiest I've ever applied and there were no air bubbles at all. Seems to be a quality product for the price, just the cleaning kit was useless.

Overall a great screen protector for the Playstation Vita. I highly recommend it. The overall feel of the screen while playing games is great! It is very smooth. I am on my 4th PS Vita and I can tell you that the screen is definitely susceptible to scratches, scrapes, and even little knicks. The fitment for this screen protector is pretty on point. My previous plastic protector only covered the LCD screen portion of the Vita (not the border). This screen protector covers the whole screen with the borders included and I actually prefer this method. The kit comes with everything you need. The wet wipe, dry cloth, and a sticker to get those pesky fuzzies and dust speckles! The glass is applied using a one step method which I'm not used to (I'm used to 2-step, peeling a front and back portion from other screen protectors to finish the application process). It took a few tries (likely because I'm VERY particular) and I got some good usage out of the included sticker, but the screen protector is on there perfectly and I could not be happier with it!
