A handy little addition to our list of camping supplies, decided to test it out recently, and found it to be very good. If you plan a vacation this year may suggest you consider adding this to you list of take with items, it works very well and doesn't take up much space.

I haven't slept in it, but I unrolled it and crawled in. They're thin mylar, like those shiny helium balloons, but I trust it to keep me warm in an emergency. This is a 1000% improvement over those cheap space blankets that usually come in survival kits. It'll trap heat way better by being shaped like a sleeping bag. It's really tiny and lightweight, and the muted green color of the bag and its carry bag is nice. I bought two and put them in my car's emergency get-home-bags.
Highly recommended for day packs and whatnot when there's a slim chance of getting lost or having to spend a night in the elements.

After spending hours reviewing all emergency sleeping bags on Amazon, I bought four of these for my families get-home bags. I glad I did. I was impressed with the product. I liked that these were US Made rather than a cheap import. The Lifetime Guarantee says that the company stands behind their product. I also added a TITAN Two-Sided Emergency Mylar Survival Blanket to each bag to act as a further back-up.

Got to use this shortly after receiving. Had elk down close to sunset, with coyotes around and 3 miles from vehicle. Decided to bivouac there overnight to protect my game. Used this bag, an ensolite pad to sit on, and a couple chemical warmers for my feet and hands. It got down to 30°F. I won't say it was comfortable, but it worked, and I would do it again if necessary. I was actually able to sleep a little!
